The demand for learning Spanish has doubled over the past 10 years and is ever increasing. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world and is the mother tongue of 7% of the entire population. It is also one of the most important and influential languages in international business and politics.
This Spanish Literature course covers significant literary periods such as the Golden Age, the Romantic era, the Generation of 1927 and also contemporary novels. You will study texts in thier original Spanish form. The aim of the program is to achieve a comprehensive knowledge of Spanish literature fluently expressing your opinions.
You will study both classic and modern works by some of the most important and influential Spanish and Latin American authors such as Lorca, García Márquez, Cela, Isabel Allende, Carlos Fuentes y Borges. You will reach a more sophisticated level of Spanish language skills and a deeper understanding of Spanish literature, Spanish and Latin American culture.
